Community Description: This is a new community for fanworks centering a rairpairing: Megatron/Ratchet.

This community was born out of the spirit of fostering fandom activity on Dreamwidth, embodying the adage of creating the type of content you would want to see, and good old-fashioned reveling in the joy of a beloved rarepair.

All Transformers continuities are welcome.

All fanwork types are welcome, from fanfic to fanart to fanmixes, podfics, and more.

All members can post and membership is open.

All content ratings are welcome, but mature and explicit content must have warnings, be placed behind a cut, and locked for members. Please see the community rules for more information.

In the future, if there is enough interest, we hope to also host events such as a ship week.

victorian221b is a place to explore the world of Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson, i.e. from the middle of the 19th century to the late Victorian era to World War I, and to the Roaring Twenties (and possibly 1930s). So the Victorian period is just a starting point. Originally this comm was intended mostly for recs and fic promotion (as everyone by all means is welcome to do still), but gradually it gravitated towards being a research lumber room with reviews of books, TV series, web resources, etc. regarding various historical aspects. Hope you will find it interesting and maybe even helpful for writing your fic.

All things Victorian Holmes: fics, recs, meta, discussions, etc. For any universe set in that time period such as ACD books, Granada, Ritchie, Lenfilm, A Study in Emerald, The Great Mouse Detective, BBC The Abominable Bride, etc. Want to promote your old or new fic, post some meta to discuss/back up from tumblr or recommend a book/tv series/radio drama/film? Friday 21 February - works can be crossposted anywhere else you like.

How do I participate?

Create any type of fan work (meta, fic, vids, art, cosplay, playlist, etc) as long as it focuses on Eddie Brock and/or Venom from the film or comics. Post to the Ao3 collection when you're ready.

There is no sign-up for this fest. Leave prompts for what you'd like in the

symbrock community, and find ones there that you'd like to fill.
