storywrights is a community dedicated to the building of plot, rather than simply throwing words on the page as fast as you can. Its "Main Event," Resolution to Write, will run from 2 January to 13 February, and will include eight scheduled "Breather Days," to allow time to reassess and flesh out your story as you go.
There's no set minimum of words needed to "win" the challenge, nor is it limited to novel length work, or even fiction -- just the crafting of stories, and the building of a lifelong writing habit in a sustainable way. From Valentine's Day through the end of December, community discussion is open to literary analysis of plots in general.
Because there are no forbidden topics or genres, the community should be viewed with discretion.
