reddit_refugees supports former users of Reddit on Dreamwdith. It includes posts about how to do things on Dreamwidth, especially in terms of replicating some of the functions that people used to use on Reddit. It offers people a place to look for friends they knew from Reddit who might be on Dreamwidth. This community also welcomes Dreamwidth users who wish to welcome new folks to this platform and help them learn how to make the most of it.

We have built up a good supply of posts during the first week, such as:
"Reddit News" -- about the current fiasco over there.
"Reddit Refugees" -- how to use Dreamwidth resources.
"Introduction / Friending Meme" -- tell us who you are and meet new folks on DW.

One person also shared "Dreamwith Equivalent Communities: AITA" so if anyone else wants to match up favorite subreddits with similar communities here on DW, that would be awesome.
