One year of Ponyville Trot

One year ago today, ponyville_trot was created. It is the place to go for My Little Pony Friendship is Magic on DreamWidth. There are other MLP fan-communities on Dreamwidth, such as canterlot and mlp, which are sadly neglected, but, as Celestia as my witness, ponyville_trot shall not suffer the same fate! (Give them some love too! They're not building themselves.)

You know what this calls for? A party!

My community curio_bay  has been running for a little while but it would be great to welcome more members/subscribers! I'd love for other people to post their landscape photos too, so we all have some great nature to look at! There is so much beauty in the world and what better way to share than to post photos for all to see! :-) You don't have to be a professional! Just show your unique corner of the world, share photos you took on your travels around the globe and enjoy!

Dreamwidth is still new enough that there are communities we would all LIKE to see here, but haven't yet come across. The problem is that not all of us who have a wish for a certain community are able to or want to, create it ourselves. It may be for medical reasons, time constraints, lack of experience, etc., but the point is, many of us have great ideas for a community, and interest in joining one, but can't find the one we want.

In create_my_comm, you may:

~ Post your idea and/or desire for any kind of Dreamwidth community you WISH someone else would create so that you could join and be an active member.

~ Reply to such a post saying that you have just created that community (with the link) or that you know of one on Dreamwidth like that already that the poster may not have found for themselves.

Check the tags before posting; maybe your idea has already been requested and answered!

This community, ironically, was created by someone who did not want to run a community due to bad wrists minimizing online time, but bit the bullet to get the ball rolling. ^_^
