sabrJust wanted to pop in a promote two of my communities - I really miss the active horse and dog training communities that LJ has, so we're trying to start one here. Everyone is welcome!

gimp_gate -- This is a community for The GIMP & Inkscape users of all levels and experience. It's a place where people can discuss techniques, tips and tricks and it's also intended to serve as a gateway to relevant websites, including tutorials, discussion forums and the like. Membership is open and anybody can post.
iconfinder -- A community for everyone who is looking for specific icons and would like some pointers on where to look for them. Icon makers, it's also a good place to get ideas and inspiration for your next icon batch. Membership is open and anybody can post.
la_tex -- Here you can discuss LaTeX with other like-minded people; LaTeX is a high-quality typesetting system frequently used for scientific and mathematical writing. Basically everything that has to do with LaTeX is welcome here. Ask questions, share resources with us, and what else comes to your mind. Membership is open and anybody can post.
