Looking for a loose prompt-based RP comm in the style of theatrical_muse? That's what musing_way attempts to do. Weekly prompts, RP encouraged, special event prompts and in-community RP parties! Come and let those voices in your head speak for themselves! We welcome original muses!

Or maybe you just want a low-key prompt list once in a while, for either your own writing or your muses? muse_prompts posts on the 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th every month (or nearly; I run late sometimes) with 9 separate prompts in 3 categories of words, quotes, and images. Original characters, abstract writing, creative works of all kinds...all of it welcome.

Also for your writing and/or art inspiration, let me point you at a table-claiming writing community called parthenon where the tables are named for the Nine Classical Muses, and accordingly grouped. There are different levels of commitment on each of the tables, ranging from single icons or drabbles, up to full page art and epic length fics. Fannish or original work welcome!
