queerlygen
We want to challenge the idea that works featuring people who aren't heteronormative or cisgendered are automatically "adult" or unsuitable for some audiences.
queerlygen is a creative works community founded on the idea that there's a lot more to gender and sexual identity than romantic and sexual activity. We welcome any kind of work, original or transformative/fannish. That means fiction, art, poetry, music -- anything you can imagine, as long as it fits that basic premise. We lay out our mission statement and their content guidelines in greater depth here, if you want to learn more or see some of the discussions we've had in the process of shaping the community. Or, if you want to get involved but aren't sure how to begin, why not try the (first of many) flashfiction challenge we've got running through March 8th?
