Fandom meta and essays

There's a newly made community for nonfiction and fandom meta notfic

Any fannish essays/meta about any fandom is welcome. Think of it a bit like a multifandom fic community, but for nonfiction. And feel free to comment on anything posted.

Things you could post there include (but are not restricted to): ship manifestos (and feel free to make the pairing as rare as you want), essays about why real sex is nothing at all like fanfic sex, an essay about why you write slash or maybe one about why you write gen or het, a post about the slash subtext in your favourite movie...

If you've written an essay about anything at all fannish and can't find anywhere else to post it (the pairing's too rare, the essay isn't specific to one fandom, you just don't want to post it in your own journal) then this is the place for you to share it with the world (or well... a small part of the world anyway).
