Severalplums, an icon challenge community

severalplums is a weekly icon challenge community with a little bit of a difference. There's no fixed theme—the subject varies from week to week: male or female celebrities, landscapes, birds or animals, screencaps, objects... whatever takes my fancy.

There is (usually) only one source picture provided, so the challenge is to make just one or two icons. After the voting, the winner is required to create a tutorial showing how she/he made the winning icon, and there may also be a Mod's Invitation to someone else for another tutorial.

The community began on LiveJournal but I wanted to run it on DW as well, and I'd love to have some more members, so please, give it a glance.
