gimp_gate is a new community and resource for The GIMP enthusiasts and those who want to become one (GIMP is an acronym for Gnu Image Manipulation Program).

The purpose of this community is (a) to provide a space for GIMP users here on Dreamwidth where people can discuss techniques, tips and tricks in using GIMP and (b) to serve as a gateway to good (GIMP related) websites, including tutorials, discussion forums and communities, blogs and galleries as well as articles and books about the more theoretical and creative aspects of image manipulation and picture composition.
