Well, simply because, out of all the playable characters, Rochelle is one of my favorites and it puzzles me as to why she is unjustly ragged upon in the realms of L4D fandom, so I made this in dedication of my admiration of Miss Rochelle.

shujaa_warrior - A community dedicated to Resident Evil 5 character, Sheva Alomar. This community is dedicated to the appreciation, not degradation or shamming, of Sheva's character, her life and role within the primary events of RE5 as Chris Redfield's partner and trusted ally.

meduseld - In the spirit of

sons_of_gondor, this community is devoted to the descendents of Eorl -- in other words, the Rohirrim of J.R.R. Tolkien's "Lord Of The Rings" series.

dinkley_rogers - a community dedicated to the romantic pairing of Shaggy Rogers and Velma Dinkley of the undying series/franchise, Scooby Doo (Where Are you?) and various spin-offs and movies.

ffspiritswithin - (or DREAM WITHIN/SPIRITS WITHIN), the belated final fantasy community dedicated to the ground breaking 2001 computer animated film, Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within, written and directed by Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi.

laguna_squall - a community dedicated to the father/son relationship (or lack-thereof) between Laguna Loire and Squall Leonhart of Square Enix's Final Fantasy VIII. Why, you ask? Honestly, the entire mythos/pathos surrounding both Laguna and Squall is probably one of my favorite aspects of VIII. That and they're awesome characters.

the_dakotaverse - a community dedicated to Milestone Media's universe and characters, created by Dwayne McDuffie, Denys Cowan, Michael Davis and others. What is the Dakotaverse? The Dakotaverse is the reality in which the characters from Milestone Media take place, largely revolving around the eponymous Dakota City.

walker_graphics - the first graphics community for artists and fans of AMC and Robert Kirkman's The Walking Dead universe.

last_of_us - a community dedicated to the upcoming PS3 game The Last of Us, developed by Naughty Dog (Uncharted). Here you can post an aray of Fanart, Fanfiction, or discussion pretaining either to the game, its developers or any news concerning its progress.

new_raider_fans - the Tomb Raider community dedicated to the general discussion and appreciation of Crystal Dynamic's Tomb Raider Legend, Anniversary, and Underworld (plus their upcoming title Tomb Raider reboot with their new publisher Square Enix Europe). musing_way: A laid back, easy comm to let your muses roam free. We do have claims, but the activity check is one prompt reply a month, with one warning before actual removal. Original characters, fanfiction muses, and OCs in fandom verses are all welcome. So is breaking the fourth wall. RP is welcome and encouraged, both as posts of their own, and in the threads. "Dressing Room style"

muse_prompts: A community with no claims, no checks, just three sets of three prompts four times a month. If you link us to your work, it makes the mod happy. If not, the mod never knows. Original or fannish welcome.

parlour_treats: Twice a month the mod will offer prompts here for exploring your muses. Prompts 'borrowed' from elsewhere are also welcome to be explored. Acts as a no-claims, quiet place to work on character voices. Original and fannish muses welcome.

I'm taking advantage of the posting amnesty and the surge in the DreamWidth population to promote two communities that are near and dear to my heart.

First there is

ponyville_trot, a community I created last summer to fullfill my burning desire to have a My Little Pony Friendship is Magic community here on Dreamwidth. Although I have been making most of the posts since its inception, it is a community, not my private journal, open to all fans of MLP:FIM, be they bronies pure and simple, or fans of all generations of My Little Ponies. It has grown to become the largest My Little Pony community on DreamWidth. All members are encouraged and welcome to contribute posts, but I do my best to have something new to post every day and I have worked on the tags so you won't have to hunt through all 183 journal entries to find the few similar ones you would like to consult together. 8^)

My other ray of sunshine is my ZeFrank's Scribbler community,

the_scribbler. I'm actually surprised we have three members! I created this community two years ago and I've posted two dozen times so far, but I've let my productivity lapse in the art department. I would love to see other people post their Scribbler art!

Dreamwidth doesn't need a My Little Pony Friendship is Magic community to be awesome, but it does need one to be cool. So I did the radical thing and made one. Now Dreamwidth is cool. Deal with it.

nornoriel helped with her pony-colours journal styles of which I totally chose one without knowing it.

So I'm inviting every pony fan to come join

Season two of the awesome series My Little Pony Friendship is Magic is almost upon us. Are you excited? I'm excited. I've never been so excited. Except that time when I saw how excited everyone was for MLP:FIM and everything that I could hardly think straight or eat...

So I made a community, right here on Dreamwidth, for Friendship is Magic. Because there wasn't one and I wanted one. And I had 100 days of prompts just waiting to fly. Like 21 days for DreamWidth? This is 100 Days for My Little Pony. We're already 51 days in and all we need is you to come join us at

ponyville_trot to share your views, news, things to amuse, stuff-you-drew's and what-have-you's.

In 51 days we've gone from population = 1 to population = 62. We've compiled 67 journal entries, we have 11 tags, 317 comments and the last post went up 2 hours ago (it's a link to a YouTube clip from episode 1 of season two, so it's a spooooilerrrr and I didn't peek -- my will is strong 8^D).

The best thing? Season two starts on Saturday! And there's a community for that, right here, right now.
